Pazzo Pomodoro Restaurant Review:
Many international cuisines are represented in Vienna’s restaurant scene, including Pazzo Pomodoro’s modern take on Italian fare in a small and energetic setting. The menu is equally diminutive, featuring several classic Neapolitan dishes, like the Sicilian salad of feta, green peppers and cucumbers, and an entrée of meatballs. The familiar pan-Italian options continue with assorted handmade pastas and Parmesan eggplant, and the grilled jumbo shrimp with a spicy sauce and just-tossed pizzas. Guests with a light appetite may focus on the starter salad with Gorgonzola, pears and trout. Also good is the pasta e fagioli (pasta and bean soup). For dessert, try the house-made cannoli. The wine list is short and sweet. Also located in Ashburn, Va., and Clarksburg, Md.
