The San Mateo outpost of Philz is a bit shinier and more polished than some of the other locations, but the coffee --- and the wait --- remain the same. If exceptional pour-over coffee isn't to your liking, try the house-made chai which can be customized with the sweetener of your choice, honey or otherwise. A smattering of baked goods complements whatever you decide to drink.
