Cunetto House of Pasta Restaurant Review:

Cooked-to-order pasta is the main attraction at Cunetto, but thanks to the no-reservations policy for dinner, most diners partake at the bar first. Wines and cocktails focus on pleasing longtime customers, some of whom have been coming here since the 1974 opening. First courses include a deep-fried trifecta of favorites: toasted ravioli, calamari and eggplant. Pastas designated as heart-healthy may not have been on the menu since the beginning, but plenty of other items most likely were. A mainstay is the veal topped with crab and cheese sauce; another is an eponymous pasta dish of fettuccine in a butter-cream cheese sauce. Standard desserts are available --- but who has room? Most everyone leaves with leftovers, and we can vouch that Cunetto’s dishes are tasty the next day.
