Fez Moroccan Restaurant Restaurant Review:
In a setting out of Arabian nights, indulge your fantasies of Morocco, complete with low couches for reclining, Arabic wall hangings, and a silver pitcher for hand washing. If it’s the weekend, a belly dancer performs while you dine. Then, on your gleaming brass table, a seven-course feast will be presented to you: assorted vegetable salads, chicken, meat or seafood b’stilla (seasoned pies made of flaky phyllo), kebabs, and the inevitable tagine with varied couscous. Many intricate seasonings are used, but the food is not spicy, if anything, it is sweet, relying greatly on honey and ground nuts. A $30 seven-course menu is a bargain, and on weeknights, you can also choose from the à la carte menu. The sweetest thing of all is the baklava that comes with fresh fruit for dessert.
