MacArthur Park Restaurant Review:

Housed in a landmark craftsman-style building designed during World War I by Julia Morgan, MacArthur Park is a big, welcoming place, and is now livelier than the original (now closed) in San Francisco. The special appetizer---a heaping plate of crisp, delicate fried onion strings---can be addictive. The restaurant is also known for its lean barbecued baby-back ribs and chicken. If you're in the mood for something different, try the quail, catfish or vegetarian dishes. The flourless chocolate cake and seasonal fruit crisps are good, and the wine list and beer selection are sophisticated.
