Sweet Moses Restaurant Review:

Walking into Sweet Moses is like stepping back to the 1920s, when soda fountains and handmade chocolate confections were all the rage. Servers don floor-length, crisp, white aprons, sleek black ties and paper caps as they coolly work around a handsome, marble-slab counter with dipping and soda stations. Restored, wire-backed parlor chairs furnish the parallel rooms, while chalkboard menus hang alongside historic prints of Cleveland. Décor aside, this place is a sugar lover’s dream come true, serving homemade, hard-packed ice cream, shakes, sodas, malts and popped corn --- either savory or sweet. Everything from the kettle-cooked fudge to the chocolate English toffee is made in-house. Our favorite picks include the homemade pies, which rotate weekly, the barrel floats and The Shoreway Sundae, made with coffee ice cream, hot fudge, toffee and almonds. We dare you to take on The Terminal Tower, a ten-scoop tribute complete with five toppings, almonds, pecans and sprinkles.
