The wine bar---with grape-colored walls and jewel-toned accents---offers both tasting and sipping-size glasses of more than 40 different wines each day. The adjacent retail wine shop carries 1,000 labels and wine lovers can buy a bottle in the shop and, for a mere $5 corkage fee, enjoy it with lunch or dinner at Vin'tij's bistro tables. Chef John Jacob’s menu may include such starters as seared scallops and griddle polenta cake and cornmeal pan-fried oysters. Move on to sweet molasses roast salmon with Parmesan grits and cucumber red onion slaw, pasta alla Bolognese, or perhaps the grilled Angus rib-eye. End the meal with the flourless chocolate torte or deep dish pecan pie.
