Piccolo Paradiso Ristorante Restaurant Review:
Chef/restaurateur Giacomino Drago, kid brother of acclaimed chef Celestino, now operates a fistful of Beverly Hills eateries. Growing up in Sicily, he began his life with an appreciation for fresh ingredients and good food. You can taste this commitment to quality at Piccolo Paradiso, a modern restaurant with traditional elements. A pleasant lemon dressing enlivens the tuna carpaccio, while colorful roasted peppers are paired with creamy burrata. Freshly made pastas are dressed with a variety of sauces, and the signature risotto with wild mushrooms is billed as a tribute to his mother. Other menu items range from branzino to osso buco. The five-course chef's tasting menu is a particularly good value, considering the restaurant is located in the heart of Beverly Hills. Classic desserts include panna cotta and tiramisu, but also look for lemon crêpes with fresh berries.
