Pollo Tropical Restaurant Review:
With locations in the Bahamas, Honduras, Puerto Rico and Ecuador, you know Pollo Tropical is the real deal. Call it Boston Market with a Caribbean twist, and the grilled chicken, marinated in tropical juices and spices, is a stand-out. The side dishes are the icing on the cake. Our favorites are the red beans and rice and yuca (a starchy potato-like root) in garlic sauce. The TropiChop bowls top the list of stick-to-your-ribs lunches---white or yellow rice topped with red or black beans, salsa and chopped chicken or pulled Latin-style pork. Try it with the curry mustard sauce or creamy cilantro-garlic. If you are feeding a family, go for one of the many family meals, which include a whole chicken and two sides.
