Polly's Pies Restaurant Restaurant Review:
With its homey ambience, old-fashioned waitress uniforms and emphasis on its lively bakery business, Polly’s reminds us of a much larger potpie and banana cream chain. But here in Norco, a Western-themed town nicknamed Horsetown USA, Polly's is the place to be. Among the savory items, rotisserie chicken, St. Louis-style barbecued ribs and chicken-fried steak are all good bets. And instead of a traditional chicken potpie, Polly’s offers one encased in pastry, like a turnover. A wide range of burgers, sandwiches and hefty-size salads add to the fun, all preludes to a slice of “banberry” (banana cream topped with strawberries) pie. Keeping up with the times, Polly's offers a gluten-free menu. Yellow umbrellas rise above the booths, attracting lots of local families. Other locations.
