Posto
Davis Square neighborhood restaurant offering Neapolitan-style pizzas, affordable wines by the glass and handmade pastas.
Posto Restaurant Review:
Posto isn’t just about wood-fired pizzas, though they are a highlight. Diners return for the fresh mozzarella, handmade pastas and authentic taste of Italy in this cozy neighborhood restaurant. Under the direction of executive chef Wyatt Maguire and culinary director Robert Jean, the menu includes such starters as Nonna’s meatballs --- a tasty combination of beef, pork and veal smothered in pomodoro sauce and topped with mozzarella. Among entrées are rabbit tagliatelle with peas, carrots, toasted garlic, farm egg and tarragon, and a wood-roasted half chicken. Round out your meal with creamy cannoli paired with a hot cappuccino. More than 50 wines by the glass are on offer, and the prices are just right.
