Primo Vino Restaurant Review:

Primo Vino sits at the eastern edge of busy, bustling Little Italy, through a dimly lit doorway and down a daunting flight of stairs. The large room is broken up by a U-shaped bar, and the space is trimmed with glowing wood (purportedly salvaged from the gymnasium of a large, historic Catholic high school). As the name implies, Italian wines are the focus --- nearly 300 of them, in fact. The food is not all that noteworthy and features mostly standard Italian fare like lemon chicken and other pastas. Desserts include spumoni, gelato, tiramisu and triple chocolate mousse pie, but our money is on the wine.
