The balconied dining room with tall windows provides a much more attractive setting than the original Priya in Troy. The cuisine is the same, however, emphasizing dishes of Southern India but also serving such Northern Indian specialties as tandoori chicken, lamb and shrimp. Like its sibling, it serves many vegetarian dishes, including fresh, flaky breads and dosas (crêpes) with both mild and hot sauces. Dinner may be ordered thali style, a traditional Indian meal with everything included down to the dessert for an extra $2.
