The Red Rabbit Kitchen & Bar Restaurant Review:
Located in a busy entertainment district and flanked by a sports bar and live music venue, Red Rabbit is a popular choice with the late-night set. Exposed brick walls and wood floors create a rustic vibe, but bright artwork and modern light fixtures give it a contemporary feel. The menu is far superior to what would be expected at a trendy bar, focusing on local, seasonal ingredients handcrafted into creative, yet unfussy, combinations, many with international flair. Starters include the tender, sweet-spicy Korean baby-back ribs and can't-eat-just-one fried Brussels sprouts, the latter offset with salty bacon and creamy chipotle aïoli. Mains include the guilt-inducing short rib melt, oozing with tangy white cheddar, as well as the simple grilled filet mignon topped with a fresh, grassy salsa verde. Indulge in one of the many house cocktails made from freshly squeezed juices, hand-muddled herbs and house-made syrups. Try the Krakow Salt Mine, a blend of vodka, apple cider, ginger beer and salt.
