Relish Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review:
Owners Addie D’Agostino Teague and her chef husband Dustin Teague have turned their former food store (now closed) into a full restaurant concept. Relish Restaurant & Bar is a clean and comfortable space dressed in subdued shades accented with blue chairs. Sit at the long bar for lunch as it allows for people watching while guaranteeing great counter service. We tried the seasonal butternut squash soup with pumpkin seeds and the roast beef sandwich, a delight topped with provolone and a house-made cabbage slaw. Dinner is more adventurous, and also offers waitstaff. Start with deviled eggs topped with fried chicken, a Southern dish that epitomizes the concept of Relish. Crab cakes and New Orleans-style barbecued shrimp are good choices, too, as is the rotisserie chicken. There is a full bar and a smallish wine list as well as a few rotating desserts.
