Even if you haven't been here for twenty years, you'll still find the Madame Giraud's bistro--low ceiling, four elbow-to-elbow tables and all--exactly the way you left them. There's comfort in that, along with Patrick Giraud's rendering of her thick, juicy steaks and the best French fries in town. Enjoy a slice of lemon tart for dessert, and wash it all down with a pitcher of Beaujolais or Côtes-du-Rhône.
