After earning a slap on the wrist from the Buca di Beppo folks, chef Justin Perez changed his catering company-restaurant's name from Buca Restaurant to the more minimalist, edgy Restaurant O. We're glad he did because we wouldn't want anyone to mistake the identity of this fine-dining jewel. Perez's cuisine is part Italian, part California, part indefinable---but completely inspired. We love the array of small plates available in the tasting room, even though the full dinner experience is much preferable for special occasions. The wine-by-the-glass selection is available in full- or half-pours.
