River City Diner Restaurant Review:

With a little imagination, you could picture this colorful diner as an in-crowd hangout. Its eclectic menu offers grilled Reuben sandwiches, fried shrimp baskets, chicken pesto pasta, vegetable quesadillas and Asian stir-fry. But if you are looking for more traditional diner fare, you can order up a plate of beef liver and onion with two sides and a corn muffin. Or choose from a bevy of burgers such as the Big Bopper, 12 ounces with bacon and cheese on Texas toast (a perfect pairing with arguably the best milkshakes around, or get a Greek salad). Breakfast is served all day and brunch offers cool specials such as blueberry french toast and bacon cheeseburger omelets. And although this diner is not open twenty-four hours, it is open until 3 a.m. on weekends. Also located in Midlothian and Northside.
