THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rockenwagner Room Restaurant Review:

Chef Hans Röckenwagner is an expert at reinventing himself to keep pace with Los Angeles' fickle restaurant scene. In place of what had been a singular formal restaurant is Röckenwagner the Brasserie, spilling out onto a sunlit patio. But within that brasserie, Röckenwagner offers patrons an intimate dining room created to present a truly exceptional dining experience. Two prix-fixe menus are on offer nightly in the Röckenwagner Room: a light, seasonal menu based on local California produce and one that provides a more traditional, European dining experience, with dishes like a torchon of foie gras and seared Colorado lamb. Affording a two- to three-hour dining experience, each menu consists of six courses and finishes with a plate of tiny, sweet morsels from the signature Röckenwagner bakeshop. The dining experience is made complete by attentive service, antique flatware and an outstanding list of international wines.
