Charlestonians no longer need to make the 90-mile drive to Hemingway to sample Rodney Scott's famous whole-hog barbecue. Savor the porky goodness in a sandwich or on a plate, or order it by the pound. You’ll also find slabs of spare ribs, BBQ chicken, fried catfish fillet, rib-eye sandwiches and banana pudding for dessert. From-scratch sides include hush puppies, fries, cornbread, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and potato salad. Check the board for beer and wine options.
