This trim, cozy BYOB dishes up everything from ubiquitous croquettes to flavorful ropa vieja, empanadas and camarones rebozados (fried shrimp). As for sandwiches, there’s steak and chicken, but we say go no further than the Cubano, a French roll that’s overstuffed with pork, ham, cheese, mustard and pickles. Go the extra mile and start with black bean soup, ending with flan and serious coffee for a final jolt.
