THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Santa Madeira Restaurant Review:
This is an easy restaurant to spot: Its built in the shape of a three-masted galleon, sans sails. Inside, the food is far less garish (the shrimp scampi on linguini with garlic is one of our favorites) than the splashy colors outside. The family-owned restaurant has been serving 23 years, with an emphasis on prime rib, steak and seafood; the latter somehow more appropriate considering the location on a finger of land on the Intracoastal Waterway. Windowside tables have a water view and, somewhat ironically, the best view is in the smoking section. There are also docks for access by seafaring diners.
