THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Seasons 52 Restaurant Review:

Seasons 52 is the brainchild of Darden Restaurants, the company that also operates Red Lobster, The Capital Grille and other chains. This fresh grill and wine bar concept started in 2003 and has since expanded across the U.S. An advantage for this particular location is its proximity to the Santa Monica Farmers Market for inspiring the weekly changing seasonal menu, where no dish exceeds 475 calories. The huge restaurant, which was formerly i Cugini, is divided into several spaces, including three private rooms (Carneros, Napa and Sonoma). The main dining room is filled with tables and booths, and there's a chef's table adjacent to the open kitchen. Live piano music entertains patrons in the bar, while diners on the patio can look out at the ocean. We recommend starting off with one of the flatbreads, with toppings like artichokes and goat cheese. Continue with Arctic char togarashi or an entrée-sized salad such as the Maui Tuna Crunch with sushi-grade seared tuna, organic greens, pineapple, toasted almonds and miso vinaigrette. Skip the chicken citron in favor of the filet mignon. Desserts, which are dubbed "Mini Indulgences," are served in small glasses. Among the eight choices, you may be tempted by Belgian chocolate Rocky Road or raspberry-chocolate chip with a cannoli. The educated wine list presents 100 options (with around 60 by the glass) and features up-and-coming wineries selected by Master Sommelier George Miliotes. Service is friendly and professional, and there is complimentary Wi-Fi.
