Senor Frog's Restaurant Review:
A strolling mariachi-free zone, this Mexico-based family restaurant is best known for its raucous salsa dancing scene late nights, and its popular with University of Miami students and young singles. But the food is good. Enchiladas, tacos and burritos are all the better for spicy salsa cruda and a wealth of fresh jalapeños. The house-recommended aperitif, mid-meal palate-cleanser and dessert here? Spicy top-shelf tequila shots, of course. Sitting outside risks trampling by inbound masses; sitting inside offers a view of the dance floor. Elbow room is limited throughout. Arrive early if you crave good food accompanied by peace and quiet. Also located at 616 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-673-5262.
