Situated among the Gulf-side motels that stretch along the Gulf of Mexico in this beach community, this Shells is easy to miss. It’s smaller than most of its like-named cousins, but the menu remains the same throughout the franchise. The emphasis is on seafood---catfish, shrimp, crab legs, lobster and fresh fish of the day. Many items are served with or on pasta. One of our favorites is Seafood Siciliano, a seafood mix with tomatoes, mushrooms and onions sautéed in an Italian red sauce. Those not in the mood for seafood can find a few items for their tastes, too, such as New York strip steak or char-grilled chicken breast. Other locations.
