Sidney's Grille Restaurant Review:

Le Meridien Cambridge's signature restaurant is a perfectly respectable option for the suits who breakfast, techies who lunch or locals disinclined to venture into still-slightly-scruffy Central Square. The kitchen undertakes myriad fusions and infusions of ingredients both luxe and local and does so for the most part successfully, if predictably (a little white truffle here and harissa there). Start with a glass of Pinot Grigio and dive into the burrata with tomato confit, a pan-seared crab cake with papaya or the creamy hummus jar served with a side of salty, crusty bread. Bruschetta takes on a new look topped with white bean, sage and Fontina, or prosciutto, roasted pepper and Parmesan. We like the grilled chicken flatbread with garlic cream, mozzarella, Gouda, peppers and onions. You can never go wrong with the spaghetti and meatballs served with a rich "three-hour" sauce, a juicy burger built with a grilled buttery brioche roll or the seared scallops with chorizo oil. Go for the chocolate molten cake finished with chocolate rice krispies and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
