THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sierra Grill Restaurant Review:
Located where the stately Museum District and bohemian Montrose blend together, Sierra Grill serves up creative New American Cuisine in a stylish, Southwestern-inspired setting. The rustic multi-level dining area is highlighted by a collection of original Southwestern art. Or try the Atrium room with its copper wrapped bar, lots of natural light and baskets of tropical greenery. Acclaimed chef/owner Charlie Watkins has developed a melting pot menu, bringing together the flavors and techniques of Native American cuisine with those of Mexico, Asia and Europe. Favorites include blue cornmeal crusted oysters, Chinese tea-smoked salmon tower with spinach and tomatoes and wild boar enchiladas with a side of venison chili. Sierra touts the freshness of their seafood and delivers wonderful salads as well. Vegetarian fare includes a fine mushroom risotto with spinach, asparagus and roasted garlic. Lunch is no longer served but theres some lively music at night in the Atrium.
