Silver Spurs Restaurant Review:
There's a convoluted tale about a Miss Silver Spurs running a saloon in Texas that somehow led to the opening, in 1979, of a typical New York coffee shop done up in Western dress. The "Colossal Burgers" are ten ounces of beef before they hit the grill. The "Stage Coach Burger" is topped with mozzarella, mushrooms, onions and peppers; the "Apaloosa Burger" is served with cheese, bacon, ham, mushrooms and onion. To wash them down, there's sarsaparilla. Silver Spurs also serves breakfast, sandwiches and salads, and several kid-friendly meals.
