Sleek and sophisticated, Soho on George has a well-earned reputation for its creative menu and friendly manners. Dishes have a wide ranging international flair with options such as the appetizer tuna tartare, a tower of chopped, pink sea-fresh fish served with dabs of hot Asian mustard, or the entrée of shrimp and scallop Provençal, redolent with roasted tomatoes and olives. The wine list is well considered with varieties from all over the world offered at fair prices. Wine service is a little weak, but well meaning. Desserts are less than inspired but you'll find a few gems to satisfy a sweet tooth, such as crème brûlée and a tasty New York cheesecake with fresh berries.
