What was once considered a quick bite, just a hearty bowl of good, no-frills pasta, is now a staple in the Miami Beach food scene. Always overflowing with well-dressed Europeans and fashion industry execs, the Sport Café still sports unbeatable pasta, wafer-thin-crusted pizza, mouthwatering carpaccio and a nice selection of Italian beers. Expanded into a larger space next door, it has sacrificed atmosphere in pursuit of bigger and better. While there’s never a wait for a table anymore, we miss the jammed original.
