The Stave Restaurant Review:

The Promenade in downtown Long Beach is home to The Stave, a bar with vintage vinyl booths and garage doors that open up to an outdoor patio with tabletop fire pits. On offer are 90-plus whiskeys, Scotches, Bourbons and ryes, along with more than 30 wines by the glass, 20-plus draft beers and around two dozen signature cocktails. The menu offers light bites like cheese boards, charcuterie and hummus, but guests are also encouraged to order pizzas and other dishes from neighboring Michael's Pizzeria, which will deliver the food to the bar. The Stave has specials throughout the week, including 20% off signature cocktails from 6 p.m. to close on Thursdays, and happy hour Monday-Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
