Story Tavern Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: Brian Slaught and his father, Ted, named this inviting gastropub for Story & Sons Hardware, which was once run onsite by Burbank mayor Tom Story. While Story Tavern is modeled after a classic Irish pub, the vintage photos on the walls celebrate the history of "beautiful downtown Burbank." The space features a copper bar, stained glass windows, and old Slaught family beer steins. Dogs are welcomed on the enclosed sidewalk patio.

Food & Drinks: But there’s much more to this story, underscored by an eclectic farm-to-table menu. You can snack on nachos or stay healthy with a chopped salad before tucking into homemade meatloaf, macaroni and cheese or a respectable pub burger. To finish, consider the flourless chocolate cake or a root beer float. A lot of guests come to watch games on the flat-screen TVs while enjoying the bar’s selection of numerous craft beers, hard ciders and 12 wines, all on tap.
