Sullivan's Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
A longstanding national franchise, Sullivan’s caters to a business-oriented clientele by serving classic martinis and shrimp cocktails just as they were in the 1940s. Steaks, ranging from an eight-ounce filet mignon to a whopping 24-ounce porterhouse, are tender and juicy, and consistently cooked within a shade of the ordered temperature. To enhance the steaks, choose from a list of familiar classic sauces and butters. Or, for a change of pace, try the seafood, such as Hong Kong-style sea bass and broiled Maine lobster tail. Desserts are made in house, so try the coconut cream pie or “Bananas Foster” bread pudding with caramel sauce. Sullivan’s wine list, heavy on California wines, is among the most extensive in town, with some 400 labels including 20 by the glass. Top it all off in the bar with a single malt scotch and a cigar.
