Sundried Tomato Café combines an upbeat, casual environment with classic California bistro-style fare. It’s located down San Juan Capistrano's main drag, within walking distance of the mission, train station and the historic Los Rios neighborhood. The menu offers soups (including the signature creamy sun-dried tomato soup), salads, sandwiches, chops, steaks and seafood. Truly, there’s something for all ages and palates. This sentiment extends to the weekend brunch, where classic items like smoked salmon eggs Benedict share menu space with progressive fare such as a braised beef and cremini mushroom omelet or chicken and waffles with a chipotle syrup. The wine list is rather good for such a small bistro, with a long list of international selections.
