Super Taqueria Restaurant Review:

Super Taqueria is a small, local chain that has grown to nine locations in San Jose and points south, all with the same value-priced menu of tacos, burritos, tortas and quesadillas. Super tacos and super burritos, with their generous helpings of sliced avocado, are the most popular items. (Note that the burritos contain meat, cheese, beans and salsa, but no rice.) Carne asada is among meat choices for tacos or burritos, but we like the tender pork chile verde and the flavorful (if a bit salty) pork adobada. Tortas are particularly inexpensive and are filled with meat, tomato, onions, sour cream and avocado, although the meat is a little skimpy. A bar is loaded with garnishes, including cilantro, onions, lime wedges, fresh chiles and pico de gallo, as well as squirt bottles of red and green salsas. No alcohol is served. Other locations.
