Sweetbites Cafe and Bakery Restaurant Review:
Owner/baker Sandra Panetta made a wise choice in transforming her food truck in DC to a bakery/café in McLean. She took her baked goods, sandwiches and freshly-brewed illy coffee to an upscale and food-friendly area. Sticky buns are just one of her many interesting creations, joining lemon bars (Not Your Average Lemon Bar) that contain the entire fruit, rind and all. Her tres leches cake, brownies and cream puffs can round out a soup/sandwich lunch.
