Don’t just start and stop with the steam table; check out the extensive printed menu for inspiration. Kebabs are a good starting point, though the lamb shish kebab has a startlingly pungent taste; however, the dal as a separate dish comes as a mildly spiced several-bean mixture. Thanks to the handiness of the tandoor, you can also get any number of oven-baked breads, including a good onion kulcha. The range of curries is notable, and the butter chicken is especially good. There are no desserts, but after all, the kitchen does offer mango lassi, the famed yogurt beverage that is always a good sweet substitute.
