We couldn't begin to explain the name of this strange restaurant that stands next to a convenience store on a busy Midtown street, nor the convoluted changes in ownership it has undergone. It's the surprising quality of the sort of wild-eyed nouveau-pan Asian-Louisiana seafood coming from its closet-sized kitchen that makes patrons happy to sit in its atmosphere of funky anti-ambience or on the deck that threatens to take over the entire parking lot. The grilled amberjack sandwich with white wine-apple-ginger sauce is one of the best sandwiches in town. Also, look for a steady stream of appetizer, entrée and dessert specials.
