About the food hall & décor: With 50,000 square feet and 18 kitchens, this Fulton Market foodporium plays the part of foodbassador for some of Chicago's top restaurants and chefs. For Chicago food lovers, it's a curated destination for the flavors we crave: deep dish pizza, Italian beef, classic Chicago hot dogs and dumplings, which just scratch the surface. With restaurants lining the first floor perimeter, diners can go on an eatery crawl, or zero in on a particular spot. Upstairs, find an Instagrammable bleachers section, a demo kitchen and a rooftop bar on the third floor with a patio.

Likes: It's easy to navigate and a great option for bringing newcomers or the work crowd for a bite.
Dislikes: Diners might find prices high for no table service. Communal seating is the only option.

Food & Drinks: The publisher landed some of Chicago's well-known chefs – Bill Kim (Urbanbelly), John Manion (La Sirena Clandestina) and Abe Colon (Fat Rice), just to name a few – for this only-in-Chicago food hall. Wander from Decent Beef to The Art of Pizza to Pretty Cool (a popsicle joint) for a sampler of Chicago's food possibilities. The nice part? It's a gateway to the real thing. Like it here and you might wind up booking a reservation at the actual restaurant.
