Tognazzini’s Dockside Restaurant Restaurant Review:
On the surface, this is definitely one of those iconic end-of-the-pier coastal joints with a great waterfront view. Décor is basic, the napkins are paper, and yes, there’s even a relish tray. The menu is decidedly old school as well, but you won’t mind given the freshness of the fish. The Tognazzinis are a local fishing family (who also operate the fish market/casual eatery in back and the smokehouse down the street), so they know which boat and captain caught your catch-of-the-day. Though the regular menu offers reliable takes on fish tacos, shrimp scampi and albacore kebabs, check out the seasonal specials and don’t pass up local Dungeness crab, salmon or halibut. For dessert, go for the olallieberry cobbler. Beer and local wines are available.
