THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Trevisio Restaurant Review:
Texas Medical Center staff and visitors make good use of Trevisio, though all Houstonites may not be aware of this best-kept secret for Italian cuisine. Lunch is a bustling time for the sleek eatery, but dinners are a little quieter, making it fine for a romantic date. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the city below and clement nights invite alfresco dining on the patio. Inside, the cool blue colors reflect the waterfall wall and also complement executive chef Jon Buchanan’s menu. Antipasti include paper-thin carpaccio, polenta-crusted crab cakes and littleneck claims. Trevisio is also known for its classic Caesar salad, risotto with English peas and flavorful pastas, wood-grilled beef and fresh fish. Buchanan sources much of his products locally and he offers vegetarian and gluten-free menus, too.
