Tuscany Grill Restaurant Review:
Tuscany Grill is a spacious neighborhood eatery, and sports events on its TVs draw guests to the handsome bar and lounge. Start with shrimp scampi served with your choice of a heavy cream or classic garlic butter sauce; artichoke hearts francaise; and steamed clams with red or white sauce. Soup or salad precedes all entrées; seafood, chicken and beef dishes come with penne in marinara sauce. We suggest the spinach-and-ricotta-filled eggplant cannelloni; the trout almandine with meunière sauce; and the scalone, abalone and scallop meat sautéed with lemon butter-almond sauce. Chicken Angelo and piccata are favorites, as are the veal Marsala and New York steak topped with peppercorn and bordelaise sauces. A nice selection of wines by the glass complements the fare. Kids 12 and under get linguine marinara, ravioli, fettuccine Alfredo, chicken Parmigiano or fried shrimp for under $8. Among desserts are tiramisu and caramel mocha ice cream.
