Uinta Brewing Company Brewhouse Pub Restaurant Review:
Salt Lake City International Airport travelers with layover time on their hands can either spend it at the airport, visit the Mormon Temple, or do what locals do --- catch a five-minute cab ride to Uinta Brewing for a free brewery tour and a massive sandwich. Your bartender will recommend the best pairing, be it the Yard Sale Winter Lager or the seasonal Sum'r Ale. Or ask for a sampler and pick one of the 15 craft brews yourself. The small café/bar doesn't offer much in terms of atmosphere or views, but the beers are cold and made-to-order deli sandwiches better than any stale airport specimen. Tours are by appointment only so make sure to call ahead.
