The ribs that this modest barbecue joint piles on its platters come with the usual choice of sauces---Carolina mustard, Wichita Falls hot, etc.---but the St. Louis is the default fave. The brisket and pulled pork are admirable, while sides like collared greens and macaroni and cheese are Sunday supper-authentic. The restaurant even offers hearty, home-style breakfast fare (although they don’t open before 11 a.m.), including sweet potato pancakes and biscuits with gravy.
