The Underground at The Mob Museum Restaurant Review:
This immersive Prohibition history exhibit space features a distillery, speakeasy and private VIP room located in the basement of The Mob Museum. Guests descending from the first floor hear historic audio recordings of Prohibition’s advocates and opponents. Once in the basement, they are surrounded by artifacts from the 1920s and the environment offers an opportunity to experience Prohibition-era craft cocktails in the speakeasy and tour the on-site distillery for a taste of the past. Cocktails with era-themed names and recipes include Bee’s Knees with gin, lemon and jalapeño honey; Bathtub Fizz with gin, sloe gin, Aperol, sugar, lemon, egg white and bitters; and Corpse Reviver #2 with gin, Curaçao, Lillet, lemon and absinthe.
