Velveteen Rabbit Restaurant Review:

The Downtown Las Vegas Arts District continues to thrive and expand, with an array of unique hot spots serving the art-loving public. One such cocktail lounge is the Velveteen Rabbit, situated on the west edge of the Arts District within walking distance of The Arts Factory and Holsum Lofts. Inspired by the children's novel of the same name, the eclectic décor features a neon rabbit, upholstered loveseats, hanging industrial-style light bulbs, textured wallpaper and a long wood bar. Artisan spirits are used to craft signature cocktails, which have included the Sacred Pine, combining mezcal, Zirbenz, pear honey, meringue and nutmeg. (The list changes seasonally.) A dozen draft beers and several bottle selections include some from local breweries. Local DJs and musicians provide entertainment on weekends. There is no food served here, but food trucks occasionally park outside.
