Virago Restaurant Review:
The quality of Virago’s sushi is high for this landlocked part of the country, and you can order unadorned rolls or sashimi with confidence. There’s plenty of fun to be had with such rolls as the Crazy Monkey, with eel, jalapeño, mango, avocado and cashews, or the Hawaii Five-O, with hamachi, escolar, hearts of palm, avocado, mango, toasted coconut, kiwi and macadamias. A robatayaki section on the menu is filled with traditional Japanese wood-grilled meat entrées. There’s a saké bar with extensive selections to complement the line-up of nectar-like cocktails.
