White Dog Cafe Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: White Dog Cafe, situated in three adjacent Victorian brownstones next to the University of Pennsylvania, has benefited from owner Marty Grims' solid restaurant management pedigree. Grims is also behind Moshulu restaurant on the waterfront, and has two additional White Dog locations on the Main Line.

Food: Focusing on seasonal, locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients, there's lots to “woof” about on the menu. From the Kennett Square mushroom soup and organic cheese plate to the Maryland striped bass and Lancaster chicken with crispy fingerling potatoes, the dishes offer comfort and fine presentation. For dessert, try the devil’s food strata with milk chocolate crème and raspberry jam.
