A real find among casual eateries, The Wiener's Circle stars a menu that offers daily specials and standard items that include an extensive selection of hot dogs and house-made sausages --- 12 different kinds in all, with your choice of 40 toppings. The kitchen turns out, according to the chef’s whims, other entrée items as well, such as a duck panino with mashed potatoes and hoisin sauce on chapatti rolls; lamb sliders; and a lobster and lamb surf ‘n’ turf combo with french fries. The best bet is the Barking Tall, a deep-fried hot smoked sausage covered with Tabasco onions and a dripping sriracha cheese topping garnished with potato sticks for crunch. Come often, come early. You don’t want to miss those daily specials, which sell out early. Sausage making classes are also offered.
