THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Wildflowers Garden Restaurant & Thai Corner Restaurant Review:
Picture the United Nations merged with Woodstock, and you have this charming spot, described by the proprietor as being dedicated to yesterdays charm. Woodsy and brimming with greenery, the garden-style seating creates a comfortable mood and its extensive, multicultural menu is designed to please the world. Warm sandwiches like Kansas City barbeque beef or picante chicken, chili or vegetable quesadillas, and home cooking entrées such as meatloaf and Yankee pot roast are just good, but carefully prepared. Though the concept is not new, we admittedly got a kick from the warm and fuzzy offerings of food for sharing---cheese boards, cheese fondue, and baked Brie---as if we were part of a love-in. Desserts win the prize: Belgian waffles, banana splits, and the Belgian chocolate brownie made with Callebaut Belgian chocolate is simply outrageous. To make matters even more confusing, the restaurant swings towards its other owner and goes totally Thai on the weekends.
